Yup... you guessed it...
Getting used to the Florida heat
definitely left us all screaming for, ready for, some yummy ice cream...
(to be fair, it's not too much hotter than back in MI...)
The girls and I took a walk up to an ice cream place earlier in the week.
It's a cute little place at the front of Daryl and Carolyn's neighborhood -
Ailey had 'cotton candy' and I have to say, next time I will be ordering that too - it was so good! :)
Also - Ailey has been pretty much living in the pool-
no joke that girl is in two or three times a day.... and she's got the tan little body to prove it!
I guess my girl's trying to get a little Florida in her before school starts...
I'm loving it... Her confidence is growing more everyday...
This morning she swam across the entire pool -without her floaties-
which is a HUGE accomplishment for the girl who last year was still splashing
and freaking out about being in the water.
Love her... and love her new found love for swimming....
and love ice cream. (can't forget the ice cream...)
